Also known as Vara Siddi Vinayaka Temple, kanipakkam is one among the popular pilgrimage centers of AndhraPradesh.Located close to Tirupati, we can see ‘swayambhu’ idol (the self-manifested) of Lord Vinayaka inside a small well. The idol was found in a well years back and now also during rainy season water overflows from this well.Local people also claim that the idol is growing in size year by year.A river flows beside the temple known as ‘Bahuda River’.

The temple was built by Chola King in 11th Century. There is a big tank in front and idol of ganesh in the center. There are many buses from tirupati to kanipakam.I am not sure about the sevas here as when we went it was over crowded and we had only darshanam of the god.
