Pav Bhaji is a popular street food specially in Mumbai.This food is native to Maharashtrians.Pav means bread in marathi and bhaji is a vegetarian curry.They sell this on hand carts popularly known as Pav bhaji chi Gaadi.
People enjoy eating this any time any where!.
Ingredients :
For bhaji:
Onions – 1 cup (chopped)
Tomatoes – 1 cup (chopped)
Gobi – 1/2 cup (chopped)
Aloo – 2 medium sized
Mutter – 1/2 cup
Pav bhaji Masala Powder ( I bought MDH masala powder)
Salt to taste
Oil – 2 tsp
Cilantro – 1/4 cup ( finely chopped)
Pav – 4 pieces
Butter – 2 tsp

Boil all the vegetables in a pressure cooker with little salt.Cook it for 3 whistles.It should be boiled in such a way that should be able to mash them easily.
In a pan,add oil , add the cooked vegetables, masala powder and salt.Mash it with little water.Cook it for 10-15 minutes.
Mean time roast the pavs with butter on a tava.Garnish the bhaji with cilantro and serve with pavs.

Shunti Tambli or Shunti (Ginger) Pasangri is a side dish for rice.Usually its prepared in summer as it works as a coolant to beat the heat.
Ingredients:
Ginger – a thumb size
Green chillies – 2-3
Grated coconut – 1/4 cup
Yogurt Drink or Buttermilk – 1 cup
Salt to taste
For seasoning
Oil – 2tsp
Mustard seeds – 1 tsp
Curry leves – 2-3
Red Chillies – 1
Hing – a pinch
Grind the coconut,green chillies and ginger in a mixer and make a paste.Mix this paste with the yogurt drink,add salt and do the seasoning with curry leaves,red chillies.

Ingredients:
Brinjal – 4-5 cut in to thin slices
Oil – 3 tsp
Mustard seeds – 1 tsp
Urad dal – 1/2 tps
Red chillies – 3-4
Turmeric a pinch
Salt to taste
Curry leaves – few
Take a pan add a little oil, mustard, urad dal and curry leaves.When mustards start to splitter add the cut brinjols and fry for few minutes. Close the lid and cook it on a medium flame without adding water. When it is almost done, add salt and fry it for another 5 minutes. You can garnish it with cilantro.

Ingredients :
Raw Mangoes – 2 small ( chop into meduim pieces)
Masala Powder – 5 tsp
Oil – 2 tsp
Mustard seeds – 2 tsp
Curry leaves – 5-6
Cilantro – 2 sticks ( finely chopped)
Tamarind Juice – 7 tsp
Jaggery – 1 piece (small lemon size)
Salt
For Masala Powder (dry roast everything and make a fine powder in mixer)
Dry Red Chillies – 6
Corriander seeds – 2 tsp
Urad dal – 1 tsp
Grated coconut – 1/4 cup
Heat oil in pan add mustard,curry leaves and chopped mangoes.Add little water,boil it till it is half boiled.
Next add the masala powder,tamarind juice,jaggery and salt.Boil it for about 15 minutes till it becomes a gravy.Decorate with chopped cilantro and server hot with rice.
Gojju means sweet curry in Kannada.Its a kind of sweet and tangy curry and you can prepare this with other vegetables like Bhindi, Cucumber and Chayote also.
